This is my attempt to recreate a dish that I found at the Cliff House Sunday Brunch.
Heat a pan with a lid, preferably glass lid. Steam fry the asparagus on medium-high heat with a mixture of the oils (use peanut oil if you want to fry on high heat), adding water as needed. When asparagus just starts to wilt, add soy sauce and juice (use OJ instead of water if it's not concentrate and you want it to boil off). Serve hot or cold. Garnish with sesame seeds.
If this seems like too much work, you can coat asparagus with olive oil and roast at 450 for about twelve minutes, serve hot or cold.
